Requirements: Litigation/Transactional Legal Assistant OUR CLIENT Our client, a tier one law firm in Boulder, is looking for a Litigation/Transactional Legal Assistant to join their team. The right candidate will be a self-starter; have strong abilities to multi-task; have strong computer skills and be a true team player. THE POSITION The firm’s managing partner’s is in need of an experienced Litigation/Transactional Legal Assistant to replace someone who is retiring. The person needs to have high energy (in a positive manner), be an independent worker and autonomous. They need to be resourceful and a good writer. Litigation experience is required along with some transactional experience. YOUR CREDENTIALS You will be considered if you have… 5+ years experience as a Legal Assistant/ Secretary Experience in civil litigation Previous calendaring and docketing experience An extremely professional demeanor and polish when interacting with both colleagues and clients Familiarity with Colorado and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure You’ll be a top candidate if you have the above qualifications AND… Experience supporting transactional practice groups Pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay For Equal Work Act, please find the compensation range specific to this role if based in CO. Target salary range: Up to $70k, DOE Benefits: Paralegals are classified as non-exempt employees. A brief rundown of benefits is as follows: Firm pays 100% of each employee’s premium for the Bronze plan. Employee’s may “buy up” to a richer plan. Voluntary dental and vision insurance. Firm pays at 100% for short term and long term disability insurance. Firm pays at 100% life insurance in the amount of $25,000. Firm offers a 401(k) plan and contributes 3% of employee’s salary after an eligibility period of 6 months of employment. 8-9 holidays per year depending upon how they fall on the calendar. 4 weeks of PTO accrued during first year of employment. Thereafter, available on anniversary date. Paid garage parking. Eco Pass also available at no cost to employees.
